Brilliant show. Love the dark backdrop. The whole tone of it is spot on. Great casting too.

I watched the first two together, the scene setting and slow start in episode 1 was brilliant.

I thought it was obvious from early on what was happening with the young girl going to meet her new fella but I was not prepared for it to be the new girlfriend and just how vicious she was. She's not the killer though.

Lots of interpersonal relationships to unravel.

I thought Winslet was top notch, she's a very good actor though, the supporting cast is doing a great job too.

Superb television. I was unsure during the 1st episode but it really was just building up the characters. And actually doing it really well.

Twists in every episode so far!! Love it.

It is a grim old place is Easttown. Still can't figure out what part Guy Pearce has in the whole story, he can't just be the "love interest"

Another excellent episode. Gutted there are only two left.

It is just a high quality series, shows if the story is right and the main lead is good it doesnt need to be filled with special effects, just people being people

I am wondering if they have done something with the palette when filming it to create the atmosphere...its always a pretty grey and dour town...its not a sunny happy place is it
