Married... with Children TV Thread

Anyone else a fan?

I always found it odd that neither UK or Irish TV would not look to buy the rights and show it regularly, it's absolutely timeless. When you consider the amount of rubbish most broadcasters show on a daily basis or the continued churning out of the same old stuff, Married With Children would still hold up against most comedies.

I remember it from the late 80s/early 90s, it was a classic.

Not sure how well it aged though.

I watched it occasionally but was not really a fan. Had it's moments but a lot of the humour got pretty repetitious after a while. Still, had a solid cast who handled the material well. Just not my cuppa.

The script and acting, especially up until the final 2 or 3 series is pure genius.

Unfortunately, some would find it offensive now so I doubt it would get air time on prime t.v.
