Just watched the first episode there. 9 years later and there's still no conclusive evidence of what happened. Very, very strange.

Someone at work told me about it today and just going to spend this evening binge watching the 3 episodes, having watched one so far.

The thing that doesn't make sense to me with regards to the theory the pilot did it, is that why would he want to hide it or drag it out in such a way? Might be wrong, but most pilot suicides seem to have been very fast and hard type acts like that German Wings one the other year. The logic in me says a bit of a Helios Airways scenario where they've all lost consciousness and the plane just glides and glides until it runs out of fuel then crashes into the sea. But even that doesn't fully add up because how would it have deviated so far away from the original flight path.
