The post is quite vague and lacks detail about why the aviation career mode is interesting. More context and specific insights would enhance its relevance and value to the community.

I've not been able to try this out today, unfortunately.

I've been stuck in a login queue for well over an hour

I finally got into the game today after getting the same error as you David76 David76

I'm really looking forward to putting some hours into the career mode.

I can't get this to load.

I've tried on the cloud then I installed it.

On the cloud, it doesn't get past the first set up stage. When trying the installed version, it doesn't get past "Customize Identity".

It's been another disastrous game launch.

The majority of users still haven't managed even a single flight. Even those who've got it going have found so many issues it's practically unusable.

It wasn't unexpected. People have been warning for months that it wasn't ready for launch, and nobody could understand why the developers chose to do a simultaneous worldwide launch on all platforms rather than stagger it over a few days.

The other mad trivial thing is that 2024 is nearly over, and the simulator becomes "dated" in a few weeks why not flight simulator 2025? That's when it will be more playable and be fixed

I think I'll wait at least a few months before I give this a go. It seems broken.

Has anyone played this yet?

Decided to try MSFS 2024 again.

This time I've managed to get it to load. Setting up the controls is a pain - everything has to be done manually, and takes forever. In the external view, most of the planes have a little red man sticking out of the cockpit - that was a glitch that had supposedly been fixed. Scenery isn't brilliant, especially having fine-tuned MSFS 2020, which has lately been the best it's ever looked. Aircraft textures come and go - sometimes sharp, sometimes blurry. Tried flying the Beluga and had a crash to desktop.

So there are still massive problems.
