This was an entertaining watch for people like myself who grew up watching WWE but lost interest a couple of decades ago. I forgot how mad some of the stuff was that they got away with putting on television. Back then, there was the attitude of "if you don't like it, then turn over to a different channel".

Despite interviewing Vince, and so many people close to him who would defend him to death, I thought Netflix did a job of being critical. It could have easily ended up being a fluff piece if it were in different hands.

This was alright. I think it's probably more based for people who haven't watched for years or non-watchers who'll probably be a bit shocked at McMahon or the business in general.

Anyone who follows it won't find nowt new and it actually makes McMahon look all right, considering it could have really gone to town on him.

It glosses over a lot of stuff, I don't think it mentions him covering up murder or dragging one of his employees ' wives on air for a live interview less than 24 hours after he died so she could tell the viewers it wasn't WWE's fault.

Decent enough watch though, if anyone enjoyed it and hasn't seen Dark Side of the Ring they'd probably like that more.

Agreed, you get a much more detailed and honest watch with Dark Side of the Ring.

This was a history of WWE and the business way more than it was about Vince. I know he was behind it all, but the whole thing felt weak.

I enjoyed this. Vince McMahon seems like a pretty awful person, but he is genuinely fascinating too.

When I was watching wrestling growing up I never thought about how completely mad it is that the head of the business put himself into the ring as a character. And that he was brilliant at it.

It was fascinating to see what managed to pass on TV in the name of family entertainment. It was quite nostalgic yet horrific to remember that as a pre-teen, I was watching sledgehammer shoved into faces, buried alive matches, chants of slut, bra and panties matches, sexual assault disguised as alpha male behaviour and what not. Man, they got away with a lot at the time.
