The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are targetting Kentucky offensive coordinator Liam Coen to fill the same role with the franchise, a source involved with the discussions confirmed Friday.

The two sides still have to work through details before the move would be finalized, per the source.

Coen last coached in the NFL in 2022 when he served as the Los Angeles Rams' offensive coordinator. That season the Rams dealt with several injuries including some that kept quarterback Matthew Stafford out for an extended period of time and finished 5-12. He also coached receivers and quarterbacks in Los Angeles from 2018-20.

The Tennessee Titans are hiring Jacksonville Jaguars passing game coordinator Nick Holz as offensive coordinator, a team source confirmed Friday.

New coach Brian Callahan's staff is coming together quickly, with Holz as OC — a position that does not include calling plays, which Callahan will do — Dennard Wilson as defensive coordinator, Tyke Tolbert as receivers coach and Bill Callahan as offensive line coach. The hiring of Bill Callahan is significant beyond the fact that he is Brian Callahan's father. He has also been regarded as one of the top offensive line coaches in football for decades and recently, was the offensive line coach for the Cleveland Browns.

The New Orleans Saints are working to hire San Francisco 49ers passing game coordinator Klint Kubiak as the team's next offensive coordinator, according to multiple reports.

Kubiak, who's currently preparing for the 49ers' Super Bowl matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, interviewed for the Saints' offensive coordinator opening last month. A deal can't become official until after the Super Bowl.

Kubiak previously worked as an offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings in 2021. Minnesota had the fewest turnovers in the NFL that season and ranked 14th in points scored.

His one-year stint as the 49ers' pass game coordinator could not have gone any better. San Francisco ranked No. 1 in pass offense DVOA (defense-adjusted value over average), a whopping 31.8 percent above the league mean. The second-place Miami Dolphins were way behind at 20.9 percent. That's the type of success that'll earn an assistant coach a quick promotion.

Former Vikings' head coach Mike Zimmer, who last worked in the NFL in 2021, is meeting with the Cowboys about their defensive coordinator job, per league sources.

Zimmer and Dallas are quite familiar with each other; Zimmer worked as an assistant coach in Dallas from 1994-2006.
