The Miami Dolphins have decided on their next head coach, as the team announced Sunday that it is hiring former San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel to serve as their new lead man.
Seemed likely he was on the way out after the 49ers brought in Anthony Lynn over the weekend.

He was terrible in Denver. Didn't know how to handle people, especially those with with strong personalities, and he admitted that. Maybe he has improved since then.

Saints defensive coordinator Dennis Allen will take over as the Saints' next head coach. No real surprise there.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have hired former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores as their senior defensive assistant and linebackers coach, the team announced Saturday.
Flores joins Pittsburgh after three seasons with the Dolphins, where he amassed a 24-25 record. The Dolphins fired him this offseason.
Earlier this month, Flores filed a class-action lawsuit against the NFL and its 32 teams alleging discrimination in their hiring practices. Among the allegations in the suit, Flores claims the New York Giants interviewed him for their then-vacant head coaching position despite having already decided to hire former Buffalo Bills assistant Brian Daboll.
Flores joins Pittsburgh after three seasons with the Dolphins, where he amassed a 24-25 record. The Dolphins fired him this offseason.

Is anybody surprised that the Steelers were the team that signed Flores? Figure his coaching ability will help Tomlin and company when you can get a former head coach.
Glad he got a job in the league after the recent controversy, even if it's one he is significantly overqualified for.
