Finished the first season today and I have to say I really enjoyed it.

If you take it as a show set in an alternative '60s with no connection to Batman/DC it works just as well if not better.

Jack Bannon is great as a Michael Caine's Alfred-inspired Pennyworth, with a host of great characters. I thought Paloma Faith did a great job as well.

Season 2 starts on December 13

I'm on to season 3 of Pennyworth now, and I've really enjoyed it so far.

The guy playing Pennyworth sounds so much like Michael Caine
