Two episodes in and am already addicted. I've never watched a Perry Mason TV series before so all is very new to me. Love the dark 1930s Los Angeles background and a bunch of very mysterious and shady characters.

This is so far removed from the original Perry Mason you can not even imagine! I too am enjoying it very much! For me to say I may go back and watch the first two episodes to pick up on anything I missed is very rare. For me to also say by the second episode that I actually put down all electronics and gave it my undivided attention is also very rare!

Well that wasn't at all the sort of show I was expecting! Far more dark, gritty and brooding. Dunno why I was expecting a kind of fun courtroom detective type show

First episode was a bit all over the place but since then its found it's feet. Really good show and acting and story is top-notch.

Finished! Overall, a really well-made show. Kinda Boardwalk Empire styled private detective/courtroom combo.

I wouldn't mind watching a second season if it gets one.
