I'm a bit stunned by this. By far the best hire they could have realistically hoped for. He'll obviously have to maximize the limited time he gets to work with the group, and perhaps the 2025 Gold Cup will be taken more seriously than it usually is just for the sake of competitive matches, but this is very exciting for US Soccer and their hopes for the 2026 World Cup
