I didn't know that we needed a horny Frankenstein remake, but Yorgos Lanthimos sure did.

Emma Stone should win the Oscar for her performance as Bella Baxter.

Mark Ruffalo has put in his best performance for years. I had a suspicion that perhaps there is something quite yucky lingering below the surface of the Ruffalo character, but after doing some reading it appears not to be the case.

There's so much to talk about with this but I think people should just go and see it knowing very little.

I highly recommend this.

I saw yesterday and it was quite a wonderful experience. It's crass, it's not elegant, it's insane, it's different, and it's pure cinema unfolding before your eyes. It's a lot of fun. I agree with Hedonistic Blonde about the performances but let's just repeat it - Emma Stone is so fecking good!

The music works well in a sort of grating, anxious way at times, it's visually mesmerizing, it's often quite funny, and it's just very very good. Also The General is one of the best villains on screen in a long time.

I guess Nolan will get the Oscar for Best Director (Oppenheimer) but what Yorgos Lanthimos has done here is nothing short of exceptional.

I liked this a lot! Emma Stone is extraordinary in it - a unique performance that should earn her an Oscar I think.

The sets were really stunning, and both Stone and Ruffalo were fantastic. My only gripe is that it was a bit long, and I was ready for it to end at the wedding scene.

Well this was an experience! Hard to categorise and pigeon hole it really, one that definitely needs to be seen on the big screen. Acting is terrific throughout and it looks just spectacular.

I watched this on Disney plus over the weekend.

It's visually distinct, quite funny with an interesting plot. An incredible amount revolves around sex which is fine but there might have been more interesting experiences to explore as Bella's brain caught up with her body..
