Sad news indeed. Very good actor.

Robbie Coltrane, an actor best known for playing the role of Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, has died aged 72.

Prior to his appearance in the Harry Potter films, Coltrane appeared in two James Bond films – GoldenEye and The World is Not Enough.

His agent confirmed the news on Friday.

Very sad news. A fabulous actor who stole the show, I enjoyed everything he was in.

Cracker is my best memory of him. It was class.

I always remember him in Blackadder playing Samuel Johnson with his always incomplete dictionary.
