Started watching this yesterday and quite enjoying it. There's a weird mystery going on but I think I am picking up on some clues. Lots of swearing and drug use so not for sensitive types, but it is quite well acted and written. Kind of like a drug-abusing, foul-mouthed Woody Allen movie at times. And, yes, it is actually funny, getting more so as things roll along, though the humour is a bit black and warped at times.

So, I am past the halfway mark and still enjoying it. There is now another character, Alan, caught in basically the same time loop (dying and then going back in time to the same moment). And it appears that his deaths coincide with Nadia's. In fact, they have died in the same accident twice (an elevator crash the first time, an AC unit falling off a roof while they were talking down below the second). The only connection I have seen between them is that prior to her first death, Nadia hooked up with a guy who later turned out to be sleeping with Alan's girlfriend. Definitely some things happening that suggest possible solutions, though. Three episodes left and then who knows how long until season two. It starts shooting next month apparently.

Never heard of this one but it sounds interesting, basically like a mix of Groundhog Day and Happy Death Day.

I'll add it to my watch list.

Very much so! It's quite enjoyable, if a bit of a slow burner that leaves you thinking "wtf?" several times..

I'm pretty sure they've announced a season 2, which seems a bit of a shame to me. They should have just left it as a one-off IMO.. I can only hope that the producers don't try to outsmart themselves by trying to explain things.

They have and I am similarly worried. However, the show picked up a pile of award nominations so I guess that tempted them.

Had completely forgotten this was getting a season 2, and apparently it's due sometime this spring. 3 years between seasons! Some promotional pictures have arrived, meaning a trailer is probably not far behind.

Dang, another reason to consider switching back to Netflix (I have Prime right now). Still haven't got a date for Neil Gaiman's The Sandman yet, though, so maybe I'll wait until I know when that's coming.

Looking forward to seeing how this clever little gem expands and explains, or at least teases at explanation.
