Canelo vs Crawford this weekend. Do we think Crawford has a chance?

Canelo is a huge favourite. Crawford is superb, but it's a massive step up in weight.

Not really got a clue as to how it will play out. Always thought that Canelo would end up being too big and strong for him, but he's coming off arguably the worst performance of his career and has been a fighter in gradual but clear decline for a while now. I do think that Crawford, at his best, has the style to give him fits, along with the boxing brain to pull it off; however, he turns 38 in a few weeks and hasn't fought more than once in a calendar year since 2019.

My heart says Crawford but my head says Canelo.

However, I don't think Crawford would take this fight if he didn't think he could win. He looks in fabulous shape but can he bring the power and speed up from the lower weight divisions to trouble Canelo?

I can't see anything other than a Canelo victory. You can try and pick apart his technique. Simply put, he's been one of the best fighters of the last 15 years.

At this stage of both careers, I'm taking the big guy to beat the little guy.

Saying that, I'd love Crawford to win.

Think most people are routing for Crawford. For me, the more talented of the two fighters. Canelo - whilst also being supremely talented - is more stamina, grit and determination. You have to credit him for bouncing through the weights, although he probably should have more losses on his record.

Crawford has never looked in danger of losing, and the Spence fight was billed as a megafight, and it was so one-sided. You could argue that his resume is poor compared to Canelo's, and it would be a fair shout but hanging round at lightweight, there wasn't too many good fights to make 4-5 years ago. It depends if he can handle the step up in weight v Canelo.

The bookies have Canelo a firm favourite and rightly so. But Canelo hasn't been winning comfortably in his last few fights. He is only favourite because of his size and i hope Crawford wins. I don't think it will be a classic but it's 50/50.

Canelo and Crawford both weighed in at 167.5

Crawford will win this by UD, and whilst he will work hard for it, decision will not be in any doubt. Too skillful for Canelo.

It is too much of a weight jump for Crawford. Canelo will grind him down and claim a unanimous points victory.

Here we go.

Not sure Crawford will be able to handle Canelo's power but we're about to find out.

I have Crawford 4-2
