Not really much to say after that opening day performance.

Things can only get better. They definitely can't play any worse.

Worst performance I've seen from the national team.

They looked like a bunch of amateurs.

A far better performance against Switzerland but I still came away disappointed in the end. Worldie of a finish by Shaqiri but shocking play before that, from both Hanley and Ralston. Also think some of our better players have just not played well enough either, like McGregor and McGinn. Che Adams was a lot better though and McTominay as well. But we just need a greater goal threat, no idea where that comes from. Absolute nightmare for Kieran Tierney :(

I do think after the Euros, whoever is in charge (been hearing much chat about Moyes) needs to be ruthless and have a clear out.

Kieran Tierney has returned home.

I'd change to a back 4 against Hungary with Tierney out. I don't think he will but I think it'll expose the RB less.

Gunn
McCrorie - Hendry - Hanley - Robertson
Gilmour - McGregor
Forrest - McTominay - McGinn
Shankland

That's what I think I'd go with, but I reckon he sticks with the back 3 and Ralston.

I'd agree, get McT as a second striker behind Shankland in whatever way that works but most likely it does in this respect.

I like that, and agree with it being what we should do. Shankland should start and so should Forrest, with McTominay pushing up into the box.

It's clear the Scottish FA is pretty far behind with investment in academies and the development of youth players. We were technically inferior to every other team in the Euros.

I think we started the qualification strongly but that was a while ago. Since September last year, the only team we've beaten is Gibraltar - that says it all.

Losing Hickey, Ferguson, Dykes was a blow but it that wasn't the reason for such a poor showing at this tournament.

For anyone still peddling the rubbish that we couldn't do anything more because of the quality of our players just have a look at Georgia and Romania and how they've gone through.

Got to say, it's bloody disappointing see Georgia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Romania all make the last 16 and we couldn't lay a glove on anyone.
