Part of the beauty of Slow Horses has been how its characters haven't needed much action set-pieces and outlandish cannon-fodder set-ups, but I quite enjoyed the last 2 episodes of S3. As the latter aspects were being played out the characterisations came out even better, while being interspersed with Lamb going old-school - bringing the season to a very satisfying end to a so-so start.

Roll on season 4!
