We've never had any issues with our smart gas or electric meters. No need to send meter readings, can see daily how much we're using, no nasty surprises at bill times etc so a "YES" from me.
Yeah, we like our smart meter, we can check how much we spend a day on the screen. And don't need the electric people coming to read meter no more either.

I've had smart meters for 5 years and have always been happy with them. The first thing I did when I moved into my present property was to get them installed, as I had them at my previous place.
I'm not always watching it. I refuse to become that obsessed but it is handy especially now prices are rising sharply. I'm sensible anyway regarding energy with just me to think of.
I don't need to bother with reading meters that's a big bonus to me.
