Must see where and when it will be available here. I read the novel and saw the 1965 film back eighties when I was into spy stuff for a while

If he's sent to Berlin with Colonel Stok involved, it's not following the original book, as neither featured in it. Funeral In Berlin, yes. It might be a mish-mash of both or a progressive series of adventures.

I love The Ipcress File and Len Deighton is one of my favourite authors. I'll watch the TV series with trepidation.

I really enjoyed the first episode, I thought it would get all complicated but it didn't.

Watched this last week, it's all on ITV hub. Thought it was ok, never seen the film or read the book so nothing to compare it to.

The story would make you finish it anyway as it's only 6 episodes. I found Cole the least convincing in it, to be honest.
