I've watched the first 4 episodes of the new season recently and I think it's better than season 1, so far. Some little things are cheesy and some storylines aren't done as well as they could have been, but I'm enjoying the visuals and it's generally going alright. I don't try to compare it to lore too much and I think that helps.

I've been meaning to start this but the reviews have been mixed. Is this worth watching? I've seen all of the LOTR films.
