Overview: The story of New Jersey-based Italian-American mobster Tony Soprano and the difficulties he faces as he tries to balance the conflicting requirements of his home life and the criminal organization he heads. I'm rewatching it and this time round I dislike Tony Soprano. He's immature, greedy, cruel and can't stand to see anyone else happy.

When I watched it when I was younger I thought he was great.

I can relate to this, had a similar feeling when I watched it last year.

He was incredibly effective in pulling off his character. Incredibly loathsome.

Started watching it this through again. The early episodes have some really, really bad acting. It's from everyone too, not just small characters. I suppose they were finding their feet.

Yeah, it takes a while to all settle down. Some awful audio dubbing going on in the first season too.
