Watched the first episode. Was okay I guess but thought it was average at best. Still, early days so hope it improves. I thought the spell casting looked a bit shite, to be honest, you'd think with the budget Amazon could have thrown at this it would be a lot better looking.

The scenery is amazing though.

I haven't read the books. I thought the first two episodes were pretty dodgy. It felt a bit cheap and I did get the impression I was watching a BBC Saturday evening show at times, save for the violence which can be strong.

I thought the third episode was an improvement, and it kept me engaged. I think it's a problem that several of the main characters come across as very wooden and one-dimensional. Hopefully, that aspect improves.

Enjoyed the first episode for the most part, haven't finished the second yet. There is more gore than I expected.

Just finished episode 4. I thought it was the strongest of the show so far. I think I'm going to enjoy this series.

Fantastic episode. By far the best one so far.

I am liking the Moiraine's storyline much more than the Rand/Mat (somewhat interesting) and Egwene/Perryn (boring) ones.

I also liked how strong/intimidating they made Logain.

Fully agreed, that was a bloody good episode.

The best episode was the one that deviates the most from the book.

Enjoyed that. We're starting to get some of the lore and one of my fave characters had a powerful moment there.

Massive improvement in the EP4. Some actual character development finally. Seems like there is a different director for every 2 episodes (according to wikipedia) and there was a noticeable difference between eps 1&2 and eps 3&4. Wondering if there will be as noticeable a change with the next 2 eps.

I agree that was the best episode so far. Better character and story development. A small criticism would be the special effects, which looked a bit ropey at times.
