While I thought this series was brilliant, I was disappointed with the finale. The series starts with a meeting of Jake and Katagari with the Yakuza, but it ended without that meeting being explained. There are too many loose ends for what was described as a "limited series".

The lead has been accused of sexual assault by a number of women and as of yet, there is no indication that it will be renewed for a second season with doubts that Elgot would return as the lead if it is. So, disappointing end.

It's a bit of a misnomer to call it a Michael Mann series, he directed the pilot.

Well at least we know that the best character survived the stabbing. If he doesn't sing Backstreet Boys in the car again I will riot!

I'm on episode two of season 2. Took me a while to be able to be back on track with what was happening after two years since season 1 but its really good now that I am!

I've one episode to watch in season 2 which has been fantastic.

I wonder will they wrap everything in the season finale and call it quits on the show or will they renew for a third season.

I know I'd love another season!

Good season.

Didn't expect it to be fully wrapped up like that. Will need a whole new story if they're to do another season. Be good to see more on Sato now.

Yeah, what a brilliant end to the season that wraps up the story nicely.

A third season would be great but unlikely I think, maybe a spin off….

Great show, easily one of the most underrated on TV

I'm glad they closed out the Tozawa story, if only because the show supposedly doesn't get amazing ratings and it must be pretty expensive to make it in Tokyo, so who knows if we will get a third season. It wouldn't be a bad place to end it.

In saying that, there is plenty of material for a new season, you'd imagine at some point it would turn into a Jake vs Sato thing now that Sato is essentially running things for the Yakuza. Sato is just a great character.
