Maybe not the best games ever but some of the ones which have given me the most enjoyment.

Just some of my favourite games. This will change from moment to moment, and could equally double the size.

I am not saying some of these are among the greatest games of all time, but for me, the time and enjoyment I got out of most of these games and the impact they had on me, this is probably as close as I can get, though there may be an element of recency bias and just forgetting obvious ones that should be included (plus, I was never a Nintendo kid, so never played most Marios, Zeldas etc).

Went with games that genuinely made a huge impression on me or ones that I keep going back to again and again.

Very nice list Boot!

The Last Ninja 1&2 were two of the first games that made me sit up and think "wow".

Silent Hill 2 and Deus Ex are great shouts too.

I could spin this another half a dozen times and swap out half of them with other faves. Guess this snapshot is of games I have great memories, sunk so much time into or frankly go back to play them regularly enough.
