Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle worth €76.5million (£65.3m; $87.8m) with Manchester City for the transfer of Rodri.

Personal terms are not expected to be an issue for the Spain international, who starred in his nation's World Cup success this summer, with a four-year contract proposed by champions of La Liga.

Newcastle has completed the signing of defender Amar Dedic from Benfica for a reported fee of around £30 million. Could be a good signing for them.

Juventus sign Guglielmo Vicario on loan from Spurs with a purchase option. Deal includes an €8m+€2m option to buy.

Ollie Watkins has agreed terms with Al-Hilal and the Saudi Pro League giants are now ready to open talks with Aston Villa over a deal for the England striker. This one I find weird, not from the club's POV, they are probably getting a huge fee, but from the player's POV..

Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa.

The Premier League champions are in the market for defensive reinforcement with both William Saliba and Jurrien Timber currently sidelined with injuries.

England international Konsa, 28, holds particular appeal given his ability to cover at both centre-back and right-back and has been high on Arsenal's target list all summer.

Manchester United and Brighton are closing in on a deal for midfielder Carlos Baleba.

United have made an offer of around £60million (€70m, $81m) plus £5m in add-ons which is felt to be below what Brighton would be seeking to sell.

Amicable talks continue with all parties working towards finding an agreement.

Aston Villa have confirmed the signings of goalkeeper Zion Suzuki and left-back Matteo Ruggeri.

Japan international Suzuki makes the move to Villa Park from Italian side Parma for a fee in the region of £30m.

Italian full-back Ruggeri joins Villa in a deal worth £17m from La Liga side Atletico Madrid.

Brighton & Hove Albion have rejected a £50million bid from Liverpool for winger Yankuba Minteh.

The 22-year-old is currently recovering from surgery on a right leg injury sustained in a 3-0 friendly win at home to Roma earlier this month.

Minteh is expected to be out of action for another eight weeks, but sources with knowledge of the matter say he is keen on the potential move if the clubs can agree a fee.

Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement to sign winger Savinho from Manchester City for a hefty £75 million. This deal also includes an additional £10 million in potential add-ons, making it a significant investment for the Spurs.

I think Man City will be delighted to receive that amount for a player that hasn't produced the expected quality often enough.

Ezri Konsa has completed a move to Arsenal from Aston Villa in a deal worth £51 million plus £4m in potential add-ons.

The England international has signed a four-year contract with the option of a further year, having undergone a medical with the north London club.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has been offered by his representatives to Chelsea and the Stamford Bridge club are considering the possibility of signing him.

The 33-year-old's future at Villa Park is uncertain after a move to Juventus did not proceed earlier this month, despite the two clubs holding talks over a proposed move.

Villa went on to sign Zion Suzuki from Parma to be their new No 1 going forward. Marco Bizot started Sunday's Premier League opener at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Robert Sanchez started Chelsea's first game of the new season at Fulham on Monday, but was at fault for both of the home side's goals in a 3-2 win for Xabi Alonso's visitors.

Sunderland have sent Manchester City an offer to sign Jack Grealish on a loan deal.

The north-east club's proposal would see City cover part of his salary and the possibility to make the move permanent next summer when his City contract expires

The 30-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Everton, has come on as a second-half substitute in each of City's first two games this season, in the Community Shield loss to Arsenal and Sunday's 2-1 Premier League win over Bournemouth.

Sunderland's move for Grealish is alongside the club's pursuit of Marseille winger Igor Paixao.
