Well done City.

Grealish saying he was rubbish and Lescott reassures him "no-one will remember that in 2 or 3 years" :ROFLMAO:

Not a great spectacle but better in the second half not that City will be bothered.

Lovely goal from Rodri and some big saves from Ederson.

Inter did better than I expected.

A close game in the end. City was lucky to win and Inter was unlucky to lose. Massively surprised by this Inter team. Barella, Bastoni (although he wasn't at his best tonight), Çalhanoğlu, Onana, are seriously good.

Delighted City won though, you can see how much it means to the players with the emotion at the end and during interviews.

Inter, on the night, were the better team. They made it uncomfortable for City and created enough chances to win the game or at the very least take it to extra-time. Lukaku had two glorious chances but missed both - the headed one will haunt him - you can help but think Edin Dzeko would have stuck one or both into the net.

City took their chance and you can't begrudge them victory, they've been the best team in Europe all season and even with a below par performance they did enough and are now Champion League and treble winners.

It was expected by many that City would roll over Inter. They didn't, largely due to Inter's combination of tactical setup, commitment, and a few excellent individual performances. They stopped City's usual flow. But until the last 12-15 minutes, Inter were not dangerous, and City defended very comfortably. There was never a moment in that match where I thought: "Inter might snatch this".
