Demolition job by City last night. 7-0 equals their biggest Champions League win and Haaland became only the third player to score five goals in a Champions League game after Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano.

Inter Milan also moved into the Champions League quarter-finals. Progressing for the first time since 2011 as they eliminated Porto (1-0 on aggregate) in their last-16 tie.

What a draw!

Chelsea and Man City will have their work cut out to progress.

Very good chance that an Italian team will make the final.

Intriguing game tonight between Man City and Bayern Munich.

Pep doesn't seem to have tinkered too much with his selection or tactics unlike in previous campaigns.

John Stones as a midfielder is a strange one but it seems to be working for them in the Premier League.

What a strike by Rodri to give City the lead

Yeah, great strike. Typical Rodri goal.

City looking solid but if Bayern can keep it within 1 I think they'll do it in Munich.

City have been exceptional tonight.

Alvarez nearly making it 4-0 there.

Hopefully, De Bruyne isn't too seriously injured and his substitution is just precautionary as they will need him in the coming weeks

Great performance by Manchester City. Not many teams can live with them when they are in that form. Somner kept the score down with some brilliant saves or it could have been 5 or 6 tonight.

3-0 flattered Bayern, that was pretty much a schooling.

That is the best I've seen City play against one of the major "forces" in Europe. They were unstoppable in the second half. They've still got to finish the job but what a great result to carry into the return leg in Germany.
