They tend to be the ones you only see in the summer Olympics like speed climbing which is new but a select few may have enjoyed it, ping pong, volleyball, and handball also spring to mind.

Others in for a possible shout are wheelchair basketball, pool, Aussie Rules, and Gaelic football.

Table tennis. Never played it, and it's hardly ever on TV, but when it's actually on I am glued to it.

Padel.

Outstanding racquet sport. Nearest courts to me are in Edinburgh but I'd love if they opened a few up nearer to home.

Squash. Brilliant fun to play though you need a good level of fitness. It doesn't get much coverage on TV either.

Motorbike racing doesn't have a fraction of F1's popularity over here despite the on-track action generally being a lot more entertaining.

Shinty. Really enjoyed the game I went to see earlier in the year.
