I've just upgraded my mobile phone today, going from a Pixel 3XL to a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. In a separate deal, I've also just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 to replace my Huawei Mediapad Pro. I did like my Pixel 3XL but the back was beginning to bulge and the seal come away which worried me that it may be a battery problem and it put me off upgrading to the Pixel 5 5G.

I'm not really a big user of mobile phones but I need a decent one for work-related stuff - the tablet will also mainly be used for work but I do actually use a tablet more than a phone, Chromebook or my desktop PC.

I'm currently using an OPPO Find X2 Pro. Very good phone, comes with 512GB storage and 12GB RAM. First OPPO I've had and I'll probably get another one after this contract expires.

My phone is aging, a Samsung Galaxy S9. It's a work phone so replacing is not entirely my decision, but I think I am getting a new one, probably the S21, later this year.

Also have an old Asus Zenpad (3?) tablet that I use for reading at home. Nothing dramatic, isn't even supported anymore but it's a 9" so makes a good e-reader. My wife has a shiny new Tab S6 Lite but I don't get to use it much.

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S10+ that I've had for a little over 2 years and it's a great phone. I plan to keep it for at least another year, maybe two and then upgrade to the latest Galaxy phone. I may consider a Pixel phone at that time.

Huawei P30 Lite.

By far the best phone I've had. The camera is outstanding. Shame there was all the security issues and the fallout from that because their phones are better than anything I've had from Samsung or Apple.

I have the iPhone SE 2020, but I might switch to the Pixel 5 (or 6 if it is available when my contract is up for renewal)

I've got a Huawei, a P20 Pro, and have absolutely no complaints. Bought for about £200 a couple of years ago and got a £10 pay as you go no contract deal for 15gb. Ideal for me.

Huawei make good phones. My wife's cousin was packing one last I saw him.

My son has bought a few cheap Chinese phones (mostly Xiaomi). He roots them and puts stock Western images of Android on. It is a bit above my level technically but he is two semesters away from being a computer engineer and helps design and verify chips so it may actually be below his.

I just saw the latest iPhone can retail at £1,700+

I've never been into really expensive phones. I couldn't be bothered signing up to a long contract either to get one clear.

I have a Samsung A32 5G that I purchased in July 2021 for about £220.
