Have you been working from home during the pandemic? Who else here enjoys working from home? There's nothing like waking up, turning the laptop on and going back to sleep! ?

Seriously though, I love working from home. I seem to achieve much more than I do when in the office!

I loathe office politics and gossip. It drives me nuts! WFH is a blessing in so many ways! More chilled out, more slacking, can manage own time and have random midday walks without being micromanaged!!! Also when a meeting becomes too tiresome I can just mute it haha

I have good days and bad days WFH (I miss my friends and seeing people properly and the office banter) but think there are definitely more positives - saving a fortune in petrol and mileage on my car, comfier clothes and shoes, lie ins etc

I do work from home and I like it. I find it more productive sometimes, but also dificult to find help and support other times

In general, I think I'll take it. It's better than all the politics and gossip around the office building, I'm just happier at home.

I have been working from home since March 2020 with occasional forays into the office. As a healthcare provider, we are considered "essential" so did not have to actually close the office like some companies did.

Now that I am fully vaccinated, probably will move to a hybrid model. Maybe WFH three days and go to the office two or something like that.

Frankly, I have been waiting for the time when I can start going in regularly. Home office has its perks (like using my back deck as an office), but I have a fairly nice office and work with a good bunch of people so I do miss it.

I've just had my contract reworked and I'll now be working from home on a permanent basis.

Initially WFH took some adjusting to but I'm really enjoying it now.

I only did WFH for a matter of weeks last year prior to the school summer holidays.

Otherwise I've largely been based in the office and on site, which I prefer. Touch wood I've managed to stay healthy and COVID free, and I'm now double jabbed also.

I can see this being the cases with many companies and employees. One good thing that has come out of this pandemic is that businesses have discovered the the work can be done effectively from almost any location and there are savings to be made in many cases.
