Major TV networks — ABC, CBS, Fox News and NBC — agreed to suspend their pooled coverage of President Trump after the White House blocked CNN from its duties.
Ball back in Trump's court now or else he will have no coverage of his comings and goings, not great for the Donald's ego, I imagine.

Mikel Arteta has agreed an improved new contract with Premier League champions Arsenal, with his current deal due to run out at the end of this season.
Talks have been going on for months, and it was reported earlier this month that a deal was close. It is now understood that Arteta has reached a final agreement with the club, which will keep him at Arsenal into at least his 10th year there after arriving in December 2019.
The new contract is also set to bring a significant pay rise from his current package of £10m a year plus £5m in bonuses. Arteta said last week that fans did not need to worry because he wanted to stay, adding that he was "extremely happy" and "very grateful" to work with the people around him.
The move underlines how central Arteta remains to Arsenal's recent rise. He has already led them to their first Premier League title in 20 years last season, and the club also came close to winning their first Champions League trophy. With the agreement now in place, Arsenal keep the manager who has been key to that revival.

Really enjoyed the use of "The End" by The Doors in episode 3.
Also, recognise Ella Beatty portraying Lizzie Borden very similar to Sissy Spacek as Carrie White in the movie Carrie. The meek, plain Jane character who is consistently mocked and ridiculed transforms into a monster that unleashes Hell onto her oppressors.

I can't understand why they chose to make a series about this when they don't even know for sure if she committed those axe murders or not

Couple of things annoying me today.
Firstly, I ordered a new wireless keyboard and mouse online. It was dispatched last Friday and I still haven't received it. My tracking app said it had been collected by the courier on Saturday and was on route. On Tuesday, the app updated to say they couldn't deliver it and I needed to contact the sender immediately. Did this, the sender said they would create a case file and find out what was going on and get back in touch with me within 36 hours. I'm still waiting.
Secondly, somewhat trivial but I've been reading through comments and suggestions on xenForo.com (our forum software) about an upcoming major software update and, to be honest, I just want to tell them all to shut the fuck up. Never seen so much pettiness. If some of these people are forum admins I dread to think what their forums are like. I honestly think most of them want the software tailored to their needs and their needs only.

Seattle opened as the favourite to win next year's Super Bowl on BetMGM. Seattle is currently +800 (8-to-1) to win a second straight title, implying a roughly 11 per cent chance of a repeat. That's a big gap from the 60-to-1 odds Seattle had at the start of this past season.
As for the other contenders, a familiar rival is right behind the Seahawks: the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are +900 (9-to-1) to win the Super Bowl. The Seahawks and Rams met in the NFC Championship Game, which was only decided by four points. All three meetings between the two NFC West powers were decided by one score.
The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens are next up at +1200 (12-to-1). These two teams have been Super Bowl contenders for years thanks to MVP-winning quarterbacks, though both have fallen back a bit (especially Baltimore).
As long as the Bills still have Josh Allen, Buffalo will be among the main contenders. However, with a coaching change and a roster around him that needs some work, it's unclear whether Buffalo will finally break through and win its first Super Bowl.
Lamar Jackson should keep the Ravens in contention, but Derrick Henry is 32 years old with a lot of carries under his belt. The team will have to find Jackson more help to return to contention. Baltimore also underwent a coaching change.
All the teams that sacked their coaches have now found replacements, and all the teams have now entered the offseason and are preparing for the 2026 season.

Herbert fumbles, but the Chargers recover it, the added yardage makes it 4th and 1 - it looked like an incomplete pass instead of a fumble, but it wasn't challenged. On the 4th and 1, the Raiders have 12 men on the field, giving the Chargers a first down. On the next play, the Chargers fumble the ball!
