Does anyone else play this online game?

I've been playing for about a week and am hooked, apparently, it's gone viral in a short space of time. Well worth a look if you like something that has you scratching your head and you have a few minutes to spare or to play during a coffee break.

Aaron Donald, in a surprising yet anticipated turn of events, has officially returned to the Los Angeles Rams, a move that many saw as both impossible and inevitable. The future Hall of Fame defensive tackle had been preparing for this moment for months, working out at the Rams' facility and staying in close contact with head coach Sean McVay.

Donald's return comes on the heels of the Rams' trade for another future Hall of Famer, Myles Garrett, a long-held dream for the franchise. This pairing is expected to enhance the Rams' chances of repeating as champions, especially after a challenging previous season marred by injuries.

While the Rams already had the best odds to win the Super Bowl, Donald's reinstatement adds an extra layer of excitement and unpredictability to their game plan. The Rams are now considered a superteam, boasting a roster that includes not only Donald and Garrett but also key players like Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua.

However, winning a Super Bowl is notoriously difficult, and history shows that the preseason favourites often fall short. The Rams' chances currently sit at 15.5%. The Rams are aware that success requires not only careful planning but also a bit of luck and the right intangibles as the season progresses.

Donald's return signifies his desire to contribute to the team's championship aspirations, and he brings experience and drive that can inspire his teammates. As the Rams gear up for the season, they will need to navigate the challenges ahead, but with Donald back in the fold, they certainly have a formidable edge.

This is really a low-risk, high-reward for the Rams: if it doesn't work the cost to them is minimal; if it does, there may be another championship on the horizon.

Argentina captain Lionel Messi has confirmed his retirement from international football.

The 39-year-old's last appearance for Argentina was the World Cup final defeat by Spain. It was Messi's sixth appearance at a World Cup and one in which he became only the second player (after Brazil's Cafu) to appear in three men's World Cup finals, having won the previous edition in 2022 and been a runner-up to Germany in 2014.

"After the time that has passed since the final, and after giving it a lot of thought, I want to let everyone know that I am retiring from the National Team.

"It was a decision that hurt, and still hurts deep down, but I understand that the time has come. I swear to you that I always gave it my all: not just in these last few years when we won everything, but before that too; I always fought and left everything on the field for this jersey, to bring you joy and make you feel proud to be Argentine through football.

"Time is running short, chapters come to a close, and this is one that hurts me deeply. I love, have loved, and will always love being part of the National Team. I've given everything I had; I have nothing left to give, and besides, there are some great young players coming up who deserve to be here.

"Thank you for all the affection over these past 20 years. I will miss hearing you from the pitch so much. Now I'll be just one of you, cheering and supporting from the outside (through the good times and the bad, especially the bad).

"Thank you to my family for always being there, for accompanying me on this journey, so beautiful, yet so difficult. Thank you to every coach, teammate, and official I've shared this path with. I take with me unforgettable memories and moments.

"I leave with the peace of mind and pride of having given you, alongside my teammates, moments we once only dreamed of. It was an incredible experience to live this with you all. I love you!

"Thank you, God, for making me Argentine.

"Let's go, Argentina!

"I wrote these words on July 21st, two days after the final. Today, after what happened with my dad, I am even more convinced than before."

Messi's astonishing international career was of course about so much more than just statistics - both on and off the field - but, nevertheless, with him finally now stepping away from the Argentina team for good after 21 years, it is worth detailing just how extraordinary his numbers really were.

He played for Argentina 207 times and scored 125 goals, with Ronaldo of Portugal (233 games and 146 goals) the only man ahead of him on either metric.

A remarkable 21 of those goals came at the World Cup and 14 at Copa America, meaning Messi scored more goals for Argentina at major tournaments than Diego Maradona scored in total for the South American nation (35 to 34).

Fifteen of his goals at the World Cup came after turning 35 years old, with only Mbappe (22) and Klose (16) bettering that figure among all players at any age in the competition's 96-year history.

Overall, he played at six World Cups and seven editions of Copa America, winning the former once (in 2022) and the latter twice (in 2021 and 2024).

His debut came in a friendly in August 2005, when he was sent off against Hungary after less than two minutes (one of two red cards he received for Argentina) and over the course of his time with Argentina he had 187 different team-mates, with one born in 1972 (Roberto Abbondanzieri) and another born in 2007 (Franco Mastantuono).

The Seattle Seahawks are the Super Bowl Champions, and they are also up for sale.

The Seattle Seahawks were a long-shot champion this season, but they won't be next season. That's not to say the Seahawks can't win it all again, but they just won't be long shots if they do. Seattle opened as the favourite to win next year's Super Bowl on BetMGM. Seattle is currently +800 (8-to-1) to win a second straight title, implying a roughly 11 per cent chance of a repeat. That's a big gap from the 60-to-1 odds Seattle had at the start of this past season.

As for the other contenders, a familiar rival is right behind the Seahawks: the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are +900 (9-to-1) to win the Super Bowl. The Seahawks and Rams met in the NFC Championship Game, which was only decided by four points. All three meetings between the two NFC West powers were decided by one score.

The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens are next up at +1200 (12-to-1). These two teams have been Super Bowl contenders for years thanks to MVP-winning quarterbacks, though both have fallen back a bit (especially Baltimore).

As long as the Bills still have Josh Allen, Buffalo will be among the main contenders. However, with a coaching change and a roster around him that needs some work, it's unclear whether Buffalo will finally break through and win its first Super Bowl.

Lamar Jackson should keep the Ravens in contention, but Derrick Henry is 32 years old with a lot of carries under his belt. The team will have to find Jackson more help to return to contention. Baltimore also underwent a coaching change.

All the teams that sacked their coaches have now found replacements, and all the teams have now entered the offseason and are preparing for the 2026 season.

The Chicago Bears have officially announced that their search for a new stadium is now centred solely on Indiana. This decision comes after what the team described as "minimal" discussions with Illinois lawmakers regarding potential sites in their home state.

The franchise's leadership has expressed a clear commitment to exploring options in Indiana, signaling a significant shift in their strategy. This move could potentially reshape the landscape of professional football in the region, as the Bears look for a location that meets their needs for a modern facility.

The Seattle Seahawks are reportedly on the verge of signing former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold. This comes after a tumultuous period for Arnold, who was released by the Lions on June 29, just days following his arrest on serious charges including kidnapping and robbery.

Arnold, a first-round pick in the 2024 draft, has faced significant challenges off the field that have overshadowed his potential as a player. The Seahawks' decision to bring him on board raises questions about the team's approach to players with legal troubles and how they balance talent with character concerns.

On the day we complete our NFL Fantasy Draft, big news is breaking.

Three-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald is officially returning to play for the Los Angeles Rams, the team announced Sunday. He also announced it himself via Instagram.

It will be a one-year, $20 million deal worth up to $30 million with incentives, a league source confirmed.

Donald, 35, returns more than two years after his retirement. He is attempting something rarely done for a player in his mid-30s after multiple seasons away from the game, but this situation has been building steam for months now.

It started when the Rams made the blockbuster trade to acquire reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns.

Rams coach Sean McVay had a call with Donald about bringing in Garrett, and Donald has long been fascinated by the idea of sharing a defensive line with another superstar, given the steady rate of double-teams he faced in his 10-year career.

Donald said when he visited the facility last fall that he did not have interest in playing again, but this spring's moves changed the circumstances. He has been working out regularly at the Rams' facility, and he has completed two workouts that the team has reported to the league as official tryouts since training camp began.
