No. Lots of people aren't bothered about getting married nowadays. It's just a legal document. As long as you're legally sorted so you have all the benefits of being married - wills, next of kin etc.
If you retain your financial independence and are aware of all the benefits and drawbacks of remaining unmarried, that's fine.

We went to Kefalonia last year and I'm still not sure what to make of it.
We were on the less busy side near Lixouri and whilst it was good and you could get the ferry over to Argostoli for a couple of quid, I think it was too quiet for me. Beautiful scenery but I need a bit more going on and over there it was a little too quiet and serene for my liking.
Been to Rhodes, Corfu, Crete, Zante over the years and I think if I was to pick a favourite I'd go for Rhodes although the beach is pretty disappointing near Rhodes Town. Zante had the best beaches IIRC although the Kefalonia one was also good, was really nice orangey coloured sand.
The coverage today was excellent. When they started reading the soldiers stories was very moving. It puts things into perspective and I think we owe them everything. Heroes.

Reminds me of the state of the place growing up in the 80s and early 90s. At least councils could afford to pick up after litter bugs then, we had keep Britain tidy campaigns and there wasn't so much unnecessary plastic - though there was glass everywhere.

Only plan is a weekend in Wroclaw next month. Unlikely anything else will get booked this year unfortunately. Hopefully a decent summer here for some staycations :)

Energy drinks are absolutely vile, I wouldn't pay a penny for any of them let alone nearly £2. They taste horrible.

Saw it back in 2020. I was a very reluctant audience member when Mrs P dragged me to it but it was an amazing experience. I enjoyed the first half more so than the second half.
As well as being some great songs it also works as explaining some important US history. All the characters are shown to be human. None of them are perfect.
I'd recommend it to anyone.
Sunday morning. 11am. It was brilliant. Any hours I had gained though were lost during wild winds last night which left me awake almost all night.
