During yesterday’s Stadia Connect, it was confirmed that Google Stadia will be getting 20 new games – including five exclusives.
A few months ago, it was revealed that one of the primary reasons Google Stadia has such a sparse library has to do with the fact that Google isn’t offering devs enough money.
As a result, Stadia hasn’t necessarily had the best run so far. In fact, Google actually reduced the Stadia Premiere Edition to £89.99/$100 last month – although they also took away the Pro Trial.
However, Google announced 20 new games for Stadia during today’s Stadia Connect event. Five of these games will be exclusive, whereas the other 15 are third-party titles.
Here’s a list of the third-party titles that have just launched or are due to launch on Stadia:
One Hand Clapping (available now)
PUBG season 8 (launching July 30, 2020)
Serious Sam 4 (launching August, 2020)
PGA Tour 2K21 (launching August 21, 2020)
Super Bomberman R Online (launching Fall, 2020)
NBA 2k21 (launching Fall, 2020)
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (launching Fall, 2020)
Dead by Daylight (launching September, 2020)
Hitman (launching September 1, 2020)
Hitman 2 (launching September 1, 2020)
WWE 2K Battlegrounds (launching September 18, 2020)
Hello Neighbor (launching September 20, 2020)
Outriders (launching Holiday, 2020)
Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek (launching Holiday, 2020)
Hitman 3 (launching January, 2021)
The five exclusives coming to Google Stadia include Outcasters, which is being made by Gears Tactics developer Splash Damage. It’s due to launch in Fall 2020. Meanwhile, Stadia exclusive Orcs Must Die! 3 is out now.
The other three exclusives haven’t been officially announced yet – all we know is that they’re being developed by Harmonix, Supermassive Games, and Uppercut Games, known for Rock Band, Until Dawn, and Submerged, respectively.
It’s unclear how big of an impact this will have at present. While announcing exclusives is one way to generate interest, the fact remains that Stadia’s library is seriously wanting.
I don't mind paying more for a game, a price review is long overdue but they can't be charging more but still selling the game with minimal content on release then releasing DLC left, right and centre which should have been included in the base game int he first place.
The PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will launch via Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 7, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Guerrilla Games announced.
A new trailer highlights the PC version’s new features, including ultra-wide support, unlocked frame rates, dynamic foliage, graphical customization, improved reflections, controller options, and a benchmarking tool.
Ubisoft will be holding their "Forward" on July 12th.
Looks like Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, and Hyper Scape will be front and centre. I'm personally hoping for more Gods and Monsters, and Rainbow 6 Quarantine though.
Looks like Far Cry 6 will be announced on the 12th as well, starring none other than Gus Fring himself as the baddie
Toys for Boy has said Crash Bandicoot 4 will not have microtransactions after a page on the Microsoft Store noted the title would have in-game purchases.
Crash Bandicoot 4 will not feature microtransactions, according to developer Toys for Boy.
Over the weekend, a Microsoft Store listing for the game featured an addendum at the bottom noting it would feature in-game purchases.
The developer took to Twitter to clarify the matter, as you can see in the tweet below.

If you have an old PlayStation console lying around and know of someone who is decent with electronics and a soldering iron, it may be worth considering. It allows you to boot your entire game collection from a single SD card, and generally does a pretty good job of it. There's one or two compatibility issues that keep cropping up, but CybDyn do a decent job of fixing them and are continuing to improve things.
However, an ODE is in development by the same company which appears to allow either direct replacement of the laser unit or to be used in conjunction with it, possibly without the need for modification of the motherboard. It could be a while before we see it though as it's not even been officially announced yet, and they have promised to continue to support and develop the PSIO.
Other games expected in 2020
You’ve now reached the – as it currently stands – longest section of this entire list. Games that do not fit into any of the above categories will end up here, until they hopefully graduate with a proper release date, or get pushed back to the following year.

This thread is for the general discussion of the Xbox News Mixer Closing As Microsoft Partners With Facebook Gaming. Please add to the discussion here.
Microsoft has issued its June Xbox One firmware update, adding some notable features for sorting through your game subscriptions and club memberships. It's available to download now.
According to the June update notes on the Xbox blog, the update packs three key features. The first is an overlay to your game tile icons, so you can quickly tell the source of a game download. A small badge in the bottom-left of the tile shows if it's from Game Pass, Xbox Live Gold, or EA Access. Microsoft says that this should help players decide which ones to keep downloaded locally when you start to run out of space, and the blog suggests more of these overlays will be coming in the future.
Similarly, you'll be able to tell at a glance whether a Club is an official one run by the developer itself. Verified clubs will be noted with a small white checkmark next to its name, similar to verified accounts on Twitter.
Finally, just in case you lose track of your own memberships, your Gamertag will get a badge to highlight your Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Live Gold subscriptions. And if a new member joins Game Pass, the content block will be automatically added to the top of their dashboard to help them discover library content.
The next-gen Xbox Series X isn't expected to get a different dashboard from Xbox One at launch. As always these updates are partly due to feedback from Xbox Insiders. If you want to put future features through their paces, you can join the Insider program.
The Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition has kicked off and there are plenty of demos to try.
Demos are now available for various indie games through the Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition which is going now through June 22.
Like the previous Steam Game Festivals, it offers free demos to Steam users. You can also watch games being played, developer talks, and there will also be live Q&As.
During the festival, all games can be found on one Steam hub and each listing will take you to the respective store pages.
Once there, you can learn more about the titles and download demos.
The first Steam Game Festival was held in 2019 and took place alongside The Game Awards. A spring edition took place in March and featured over 40 demos of titles meant for the postponed GDC 2020 event.
This is the third Steam Game Festival, and the largest yet with over 40 demos featured this past spring and now “over 900 titles in the summer edition.”
The Summer Edition of the festival was originally slated to run June 9-14.
Silent Hill
Would you believe there hasn't been a mainstream Silent Hill title release for 8 years? There was the infamously cancelled Silent Hills / P.T that was due to release on PS4, but there has been nothing since.. Silent Hill 2 remains to be one of my fondest gaming memories to date, despite only playing through it once!

Nintendo has confirmed an additional 140,000 Nintendo Network ID accounts, in addition to the 160,000 reported in April, have been accessed without authorization by users.
An additional 140,000 Nintendo Network ID (NNID) accounts have been compromised since the 160,000 Nintendo reported in April.
According to Nintendo Japan, as a result of continuing the investigation, the company found more accounts than previously thought had been accessed maliciously. This brings the total to 300,000 (via IGN).
It has since reset the passwords for the additional 140,000 NNIDs and the accounts linked with the IDs.
“Less than 1% of all NNIDs around the world that may have been illegally logged in may have actually been fraudulently traded through their Nintendo account, ” said Nintendo. “We are still in the process of refunding in each country, but we have already finished refunding for most customers.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and concern to our customers and related parties. In the future, we will strive to further strengthen security and ensure safety so that similar events do not occur.”
According to Nintendo, the information made available through unauthorized access consisted of a user’s name, nickname, date of birth, gender, country or region, and email address. The company said in April there wasn’t any current evidence regarding a breach of company databases, servers, or services.
