Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois fight loss future

The discussion kicks off with Joshua's shocking defeat to Dubois, where many fans express disbelief over his performance. Critics highlight Joshua's form since his losses to Usyk, suggesting that he appeared gun-shy, lacking the aggression needed in the ring. There is a palpable sense of anxiety among the commentators about Joshua's future in the sport, especially considering the multitude of knockdowns he suffered during the fight.12

As the conversation unfolds, opinions diverge on the implications of Joshua's performance. Some argue that this may signal the end of his career, emphasizing the need for him to reassess his approach or contemplate retirement. Others criticize the lack of urgency in his corner, feeling that they should have pulled him from such a one-sided contest earlier.34

The sentiment shifts slightly as fans begin to discuss potential next steps for Joshua. While some believe he may not have the skill set to reclaim his status, others hold out hope for a comeback. Dubois, credited for his impressive performance, raises questions about how Joshua will deal with future matchups against formidable opponents.56

That was a superb performance by Ugas and he thoroughly deserved the victory. Absolutely outboxed and outthought Pacquiao who I'd like to think will retire now.
Probably a good job he was fighting Ugas instead of Spence in terms of the punishment he took although I reckon Ugas is a horrible fight style-wise for any welterweight version of Pacquiao.

Can't wait for the fight tbh. Usyk one of my favourite active fighters.

I think Usyk out-thinks and outworks Joshua and stops him in or around the 10th. I think it'll be a cagey first half of the fight but Joshua is going to tire badly in the later rounds and will have to go through hell to see the bell. Could be completely wrong as it's always difficult to project a fighter going up in weight and level but I really think Usyk is the type of special fighter to pull it off and Joshua has enough flaws to be taken advantage of.

I don't know lads if Usyk pulls it off it's a massive upset for me, an intriguing fight but I doubt he has tasted power like Joshua's before so how he reacts will be interesting.

I think Joshua will be far too big and strong for Usyk. He will rag doll him around and lean on him in the clinch. When at distance he will have the longer jab. When Chisora could throw him around and last the 12 rounds then I can't see enough to suggest Joshua can't. If we see a big improvement in Usyk then maybe he will be speedy and clever enough to manoeuvre his way to finding a big hook to the temple and that could be a route for him. I don't see it though. Looking forward to it all the same

Joshua should be too big for Usyk. It will be interesting to see how Usyk reacts the first time he is hit properly.

Good technical battle so far. Joshua landing few good long body shots, needs to keep them up. Usyk doing well and looks very relaxed also.
