Baker Mayfield might not be a starter for much longer either.

49ers defence was exceptional last night, the Rams just never got anything going all game.

Playing like this the 49ers must be a serious contender for the NFC....even with Jimmy G at QB.

It's a little early in the season to be relying on statistical analysis but so far your tier 1 is Buffalo, Philadelphia, and Kansas City.

And Seattle with an amazing offense, wow. 🤣 Like I said, early days…but I like graphs.

After eight NFL seasons, Blake Bortles has called it a career. The former No. 3 overall draft pick, best known for his five-year run as the Jaguars' quarterback, said on Wednesday that he is officially retired from football. The 30-year-old Bortles was last seen with the Saints in 2021, but had remained unsigned this year following his release in the spring.

"I have not touched a football since January," Bortles said. "I didn't tell anybody I retired. (I decided) a couple of months ago, probably, just didn't tell anyone."

He was never elite but he had a great season in 2017 and the Jaguars should have gone to the Super Bowl that year.

Another retirement announced today.

Exactly two weeks after signing with the Buccaneers, Cole Beasley is leaving Tampa Bay and the NFL entirely. The veteran wide receiver appeared in two games for the NFC South contender as a practice-squad call-up, but he's decided ahead of Week 5 to retire from football, his agents said on Wednesday, citing a desire to "be a full-time dad and husband" at home.

The less said about the Broncos v Colts game, the better. That was one ugly TNF match.

Hamler was wide open for that last Broncos play. Russell Wilson has been so bad for Denver thus far this season.

Are the Broncos a QB away though? In that division and a stacked AFC, will this get them over the hump?
Just coming back to this post from March. They may well be but Russell Wilson hasn't been the one to get them over the hump, yet. They just look so poor.

Maybe, it is Wilson. Maybe, it is HC Nathaniel Hackett. But things are broken in Denver.

Another good game in London. Shocked that the Giants are 4-1
