Opened the BBC website and the headline said "Argentina lead the All Blacks" excitedly clicked the link thinking I'd see on of the biggest shocks in a long time, All Blacks leading 39-6. BBC are knobheads

New Zealand are into their fifth World Cup Final after totally dominating Argentina in a 44-6 victory

England lead South Africa 12-6 at half-time.

Did not expect that but South Africa has been poor so far. It has not been pretty but England have come with a plan and it's working.

Didn't watch the game but can imagine that's a very tough one to take for England. Especially when I've just been told that they were both leading on the scoreline and looking like the better team in large spells of that game.

South Africa never led in the game until the 79th minute.

Shame to lose in the last minutes but a fantastic effort from England with a superb game plan. Most pundits gave England no chance at all. South Africa changing their stand off after 30 minutes showed just how good the game plan was.

Far exceeded expectations and showed some real grit and determination but the draw was very kind to them.

Not exceeded expectations. It's been as predicted by the state of the draw.

Better than Japan, Samoa and Chile. Marginally better than Argentina and Fiji. Crazy that's good enough for 3rd place.

Enjoyed the final. I've enjoyed the whole tournament.

Pretty unconvincing world champions though. Second best to Ireland, second best in large parts to 14 man New Zealand, lucky against France and didn't really deserve to beat England either, albeit due to being drawn into reducer tactics. They won their knockout games by a combined total of 3 points which is, well, somewhat unconvincing if we're being honest

Puts a little dampener on it because I thought New Zealand would have been far more deserving winners, but still its not like South Africa are a bad side.

Luck and getting a few timely reffing decisions played it's part, but you cannot fault the absolute clutch-ness of South Africa winning the 3 final knockout games by a point.

That's the kind of mentality that other nations would be crying out for

Good second half, really enjoyed it.

South Africa had to play Scotland, Ireland, England, France and New Zealand.

They beat them all except Ireland. No other team has played fixtures like that to win it. So they deserve to be World Champions again.

Would of absolutely loved to see the All Blacks manage it though.
