Adar and his army march on Ostirith.

Brilliant episode. Was not expecting Mount Doom at this point so that was a nice surprise.

Good episode but still could (and should with the money) be so much more epic, like the films.

Decent season overall but feels like a missed opportunity. Quality kept going down every episode. Although the final episode was better but felt they didnt need that Sauron reveal.

Hopefully they will improve writing and direction in next season.

I thought this was ok but could have been better. I don't get some of the criticism that I've read online but I did find it slow at times.

I do think season 2 will be better.

New alliances are forged.

It took a while to get going, but it got better and better throughout the season imo.

The first season had it's moments but overall it was sketchy, some of the acting and dialogue was atrocious.

Season 2 needs to be much better, this is Tolkien for god's sake not medieval Hollyoaks.

They seem to be doing a lot of the things I hoped they wouldn't. Entwives being in is cool though.

The first 3 episodes of season 2 are now available.

Season 1 was such a trainwreck it killed most anticipation. Hopefully this season is a marked improvement.

I think it is quite good, I don't understand the hate beyond a few cringe moments. I've enjoyed the second season much more and things are coming together. The LOTR trilogy has a special place in my heart but it also had a few cringe moments, especially Return Of The King.

I think a lot of people have been comparing it to the films and have therefore been disappointed - I think the main issue is the sub-par writing, which begets sub-par performances.
