Zombieland: Double Tap. Thought it was quite good with some good humour and was a fun watch. Found it better than the first.

Started watching The Gentlemen last night but didn't finish it. I don't know if I can be bothered watching the rest of it or if I just wasn't in the mood for it but wasn't really enjoying it.

Shaun The Sheep Farmageddon

Very good sequel to Shaun The Sheep. Plenty of laughs, usual Aardman gags and a good story. Also very kid-friendly :)

Bombshell. Really important story but a real lack of character development which kind of let me down. Honestly can't believe they got the money to make it so for that reason alone it's worth a watch.

I enjoyed The Gentlemen, a typical romp from Guy Ritchie.

Started watching Murder on the Orient Express (2017) on Channel 4 last night. What a load of rubbish. For such an esteemed cast the acting felt very wooden. Turned it off after 30 minutes.

John Wick 2. Completely ridiculous but good fun, the body count is amazing. Not as good as the first film but still worth a watch

I watched Blackkklansman yesterday. Great film. Good story, and lots of humour into what's really, of course, a very dark subject. The references to Trump also worked well - especially how they became more obvious gradually. Somehow I wasn't particularly struck by the message though; I guess I've been numbed by racism from everything else I've seen and read. But anyway, both a good and entertaining film.

Watched Martial Arts of Shaolin this afternoon, starring a young Jet Li. Pretty good, a hell of a lot of fighting and some of it is just boring it's so long. I love watching the greats before they were really famous though.

Rebecca on Netflix.

Huge disappointment. I thought my main issue would be that Lily James is too glamorous but actually, it was a bit tedious. No real suspense and Armie Hammer was bland. Kristen Scott Thomas was decent but overall it just made me want to watch the Hitchcock version again.

Finally got round to watching this last night. Brilliant film. Viggo Mortenson and Mahershala Ali both excellent in their roles.
