Pre-ordered this today. Managed to get it for £9.99 thanks to Microsoft/Xbox Rewards Points.

Will pre-install but hoping to leave it untouched until Christmas :)

Not surprised to be honest. More and more games are released with huge day one patches.

Pre-loading Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of its release on December 10 has already begun across all platforms.

Just how big is the install size though? Reports have varied between platforms but it appears that on PS4/PS5, Cyberpunk 2077 is over 100GB.

According to a Reddit post, pre-loading on PS5 (which is backwards compatible with the PS4 game) weighs in at 102.9GB. That's higher than the reported 70GB the download size for the game on PC. For Xbox users, the pre-load appears to be just under 60GB.

I think it only changes the prologue. After that, once you get into the game proper it doesn't matter. That's what I've heard and read.

Think I'll be waiting a few months for this to get patched up before I touch it.
