All knockout games been quite underwhelming so far; this week's R16 games included....

Inter Milan 1 Atletico Madrid 0
PSV 1 Borussia Dortmund 1
Porto 1 Arsenal 0
Napoli 1 Barcelona 1

Barcelona and Dortmund will be delighted with their results though. Arsenal looked like heading for a 0-0 but Porto scored 4 minutes into stoppage time with a brilliant finish from Galeno

Arsenal through to the quarter-finals for the first time since 2010 after beating Porto on penalties.

Barcelona also through after beating Napoli 4-2 on aggregate.

Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG are already through to the next round.

Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund complete the quarter-final line-up.

Dortmund beating PSV 3-1 on aggregate and Madrid advancing after winning a penalty shootout against Inter Milan.

Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG, Barcelona, Arsenal, Dortmund and Atletico Madrid will find out their next opponents on Friday.

This is the most stacked quarter-final line-up in a long time.

Arsenal vs Bayern
Atletico Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund
Real Madrid vs Man City
PSG vs Barcelona

Good ties overall - I don't see BVB and Barcelona progressing. The other two ties are closer, but I'll have Bayern down as favourites and maybe Real just a smidge more than City.

The semi-final draw has also been made and could see Arsenal v Man City

Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund v Paris St-Germain or Barcelona
Arsenal or Bayern Munich v Real Madrid or Manchester City

Goals galore to start off the quarters.

Real and City drew 3-3 and Arsenal and Bayern was 2-2 - I don't think either team has an advantage but Arsenal would surely have liked a goal or two start heading to Munich.

Some cracking goals in the Real Madrid v Man City game. Set up nicely for the second leg, Madrid will be dangerous on the break with the pace they have up front. Haaland was rubbish again for City and I'm surprised De Bruyne never played.

Only saw the highlights from the Arsenal game. Looked like they were quite lucky, Bayern hit the post and also could have had a second penalty when the defender (could have been Gabriel) picked the ball up from the goal kick - bizarre incident.

I don't think the Saka incident at the end was a penalty, he clearly kicked Neuer and initiated the contact.

Both games set up nicely for next week, both could go either way.

Bizarre reason by the referee for not giving Bayern a penalty according to Tuchel...

"What makes us really angry is the explanation on the field. He told our players that it's a kid's mistake and he will not give a penalty like this in a quarter-final."

I don't think the Arsenal one was a penalty, sticking your leg out to initiate contact is as bad as diving and that is what Saka did.

I only watched the highlights of both games but there were some cracking goals, especially in the Madrid v City game with Foden, Gvardiol and Valverde all scoring stunners.

I'm surprised De Bruyne never played.
Apparently, he felt ill before the kickoff so they didn't risk him.

I'm not sure who will progress, you'd fancy Bayern and Man City having the home advantage but Arsenal and Real are more than capable of scoring for fun. It is all set up nicely for next week.

Four really good quarter-finals (1st legs, anyway).

Didn't think Barcelona would get a result in Paris but they take a 3-2 lead back to the Camp Nou.

Atletico and Dortmund are both strange teams, Atletico have a 2-1 lead but that could go either way - depends which Dortmund turns up for their home tie!

I fancy City and Munich to progress from the other ties.

Big 45 minutes in store at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona and PSG is 1-1, Barca are 4-3 up on aggregate but have had a defender sent off in the first half. I'd be surprised if PSG don't score one or two goals in the second half.

Dortmund leading 2-0 at half-time and 3-2 on aggregate against Atletico in the other match.

All change.

PSG are leading 3-1 on the night and 5-4 on aggregate.

Atletico have levelled their tie at 2-2 and lead 3-2 on aggregate.

About 30 mins left in each game.
