So, no more one-way system in supermarkets. More people allowed instore. Barriers taking away outside apart from some at the front door. However, you do need to wear a face mask or covering. Friday will be fun ?

Exactly the way it should be now masks are compulsory

How many people here have actually been wearing masks at all?

I didn't in the beginning but I bought some from Next in May and have been wearing one since then when shopping and when out in some public places.

Nothing unexpected in this announcement.

Still no return to work :(

I'll be honest, I've been inside a supermarket less than a handful of times since March and haven't worn a mask. I don't have an issue with wearing one but given it wasn't compulsory at the time I guess I just didn't bother.

I've since bought a mask and will obviously be wearing it as and when I need to from now on.

I am so frustrated with is the fact gyms are being pushed further back with no real idea on when they may be able to reopen yet pubs and other indoor activities can re-open with safety measures in place. I'd be curious to see how much dialogue there's been between our industry and the Scottish Government as to what measures/conditions would need to be met before re-opening.

I started wearing one in when outdoors and in shops about two months ago. I've noticed a steady increase in recent weeks. Slowly it's getting through, and tomorrow is a big part of that.

Yes, I bought a few masks in John Lewis. I found it strange wearing one in the beginning and when it was warmer weather I found myself having a little difficulty breathing but I'm used to them now. Been wearing one since mid-May when I thought the government were going to say they were mandatory,

Been wearing them when I go to get the food shop for a month, I'm in and out of Aldi or Morrison's within half an hour, it really doesn't bother me. However, the only thing that annoys me is when I've not shaved for a while it can be a bit irritating.

Shops might not ever recover fully from this and the change from in-store to online has been accelerated from covid.

I don't have any problem with masks but if I need to buy something without touching or looking at it then I will do it online every time.

The only thing that bothers me about wearing a mask is the fact that my glasses steam up while I do so. I'm not totally blind without my specs but reading anything is all but impossible. That aside its just one more thing to learn to adjust to, at least in the short to medium term. We've already adapted to some things that just 4 months ago might have been considered unthinkable.
