I think Rodgers has a terrible transfer track record and that has contributed to his downfall at Leicester. They spent over £50m last year without selling and as a result they made over £90m in losses and the results haven't been so good.

That accusation could also be levelled at him during his time at Liverpool.

This just shows that Boehly has absolutely no idea what he's doing.

I could be wrong but there's a reason Lampard was sacked, and I don't see that he has improved since.

That is quite unbelievable.

The last time I watched them (against Liverpool) they looked pretty damn good, up until the finishing part. That was the embarrassing part. Sell some of the deadwood and use that to go all out for the number 9 they need, then they should be good enough to challenge for a top 4 finish.

As much as I think this is a backward step for the club, it is a win-win situation for Lampard. If he fails, it was because of the mess he inherited, and they win 6 or 7 of their remaining games it will highlight his strengths as a coach again.
