Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Diogo Jota faces "months" on the sidelines.

The Portuguese forward was taken off with a knee injury just 44 minutes into the Reds' 4-1 win away at Brentford on Saturday.

Great game at the Etihad as City and United are all square in the Manchester Derby.

Half an hour to play and City can't afford to drop points in the title race after Liverpool's late win yesterday.

Unbelievable miss from Haaland in the first half but City run out deserved winners in the end 3-1.

They've still got some tough games left including Liverpool at Anfield next Sunday.

I fancy Liverpool to win the league myself

It's going to be really close, any one of Liverpool, Man City or Arsenal couls still win the league. City have to play the other two so it could either work for or against them.

Man United were terrible today. Rashford scored a wonder goal but they only had two more shots at goal all game and they were both off target. City thoroughly deserved the 3 points and should really have scored more. I don't think even Haaland will know how he missed that sitter and Foden squandered a few in the first half.

Ten Hag could be looking for a new job in the summer if you believe the rumours and this performance won't help his cause.

Liverpool are probably favourites for the title though Arsenal have an easier run-in but I wouldn't rule out City winning the treble again either!

Arsenal are on a crazy run right now. Banging goals in for fun as they keep up the pressure on Liverpool and Man City.

City are probably favourites but any of these 3 teams could be crowned champions.

Man City face Liverpool, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Tottenham - that's the rest of the current top 5 over their next 6 fixtures - if they are going to win the league it will take a huge effort. Though it is not impossible it is hard to see them not dropping points.

Man City will be without Ederson for about a month.

Looking at the run-ins for the 3 teams it is too tight a race to call - obviously the Man City v Arsenal game could almost eliminate one of them if they lose the match.

Brentford had 31 shots at goal against Man United in their 1-1 draw but almost lost the game when Mason Mount gave United a 1-0 lead in the 96th minute. Brentford equalised 2 minutes later.

Liverpool end the day 2 points clear at the top of the table as they come from behind to beat Brighton, then watch title rivals Man City and Arsenal play out a goalless draw.

Still a lot of football to be played but I think Liverpool must now be the favourites?
