He is now the odds-on favourite to be the next Premier League manager sacked. They have only picked up 5 points from a possible 30 but I don't think bringing in a new manager will fix the problems

Notts Forest beat Brighton 7-0 in the early game today.

What a season Forest are having. They deserve Champions League football.

Arsenal humbled Man City 5-1 at the Emirates. In some ways, it was a statement win for Arsenal but I don't think it will make any difference in the title race as Liverpool looks like they are going to coast to the league.

City are appalling. Outside of Southampton and Ipswich, they are the worst defensive side in the Premier League now. Any team with the cojones to go at them and believe they can beat them will rip them apart.

Great win for Arsenal. But City are awful. Pep is out of ideas. I was sure they'd have a Rodri replacement ready to go on Jan 1 but they haven't brought in a defensive midfielder. City's defence is a shambles too. They will be lucky to finish in the top 4 this season.

Leicester City thumped 4-0 at home by Brentford tonight. Ruud van Nistelrooy was a Manchester United legend as a player but he is looking more and more like a dreadful appointment for Leicester.

Liverpool currently leading 2-0 against Man City at the Etihad. Liverpool are well on their way to winning the Premier League this year. City's poor form continues in what is turning out to be a year to forget. I'm not sure their fortunes will improve much anytime soon either as the rest of the league seems to have caught up with Pep and his tactics and I'm not sure how, or if, he can adapt them to make City all-conquering again.

With Wolves beating Southampton today it moves them 9 points clear of the bottom three. It looks very much like the three promoted teams last season will all be returning to the Championship next season.
