The Hot Wheels DLC is out now, played about 2 hours of it and thought it was grand. Doesn't really feel much better than the Hot Wheels DLC in FH3, will put another few hours into it and see if it gets any better

Well, that was... short. Five hours to unlock Legend status and actually be allowed to use my entire garage. The rest of it is just going to be winning all the races and setting clean Rivals times.

Bit disappointed really.

The new Horizon Origins Story, Midnight Battles, classic cars and tracks from across the series, and much more are coming next week.

Forza Horizon will be celebrating its tenth anniversary soon, and Playground Games has a lot in store for Forza Horizon 5 players. The 10-Year Anniversary Update goes live on October 11th with tons of new content, from the new Horizon Origins Story and new cars to the return of Midnight Battles.


Horizon Origins features Scott Tyler of Bass Arena with five chapters that celebrate the series' most iconic moments. The 2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS Anniversary Edition is unlocked upon completing all chapters, paying homage to the first game's cover car.


As for Midnight Battles, they're essentially head-to-head races where the opponent's car is rewarded to the player if they win. You'll need to win four races in the Street Scene to unlock each Midnight Battle, and there are four in total. Midnight Battle routes are also available in the Rivals sections. Cars that can be obtained include the 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1, 1984 Honda Civic CRX Mugen, 2003 Toyota Celica SS-I, and the 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV.


There will also be a four-week anniversary-themed Festival Playlist starting from October 13th that provides classic cars like the 2010 Ferrari 599XX, 2011 Koenigsegg Agera, and more. If that weren't enough, Horizon Mixtape is being added as a new permanent radio station. Hosted by Tyler, it features some of the most memorable tracks from the series. New songs are unlocked by completing Accolades for the Horizon Origins Story and winning the specific Seasonal Championships in the Festival Playlist.

Spoiler: Upcoming Fixes

Here's a look at some of the most notable changes that you can look forward to:

• We've fixed an issue with EventLab props disappearing after publishing Blueprints with a high-prop count. Creators will need to edit and republish those Blueprints to ensure the number of props is in line with the budget limitation displayed on-screen, which is now functioning as intended.
• We're making improvements to how the Club Tag is surfaced for players, so it more reliably shows in-game beside their Gamertag. This change only affects players who are present in a Club.
• We've calmed the intense camera shake that could occur while driving since the release of the Series 10 Update.
• Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels has received physics improvements for certain cars that could detach from the magnet at high-speed.
• ASL and BSL cinematics have been added to the Hot Wheels Horizon Story.
• We've fixed an issue with force-feedback load sensitivity that caused the steering wheel to pull to the right.
• Compatibility has been added for the Logitech G Pro Steering Wheel.
• An issue where there was little to no sound for cars introduced in the Horizon Road Trip update for some players has been fixed.
• On PC, we've fixed incorrect instances of the "Drivers are wrong" error message being displayed. Also, terrain deformation should now work as intended for AMD GPU users.
• An issue that caused black pixels to appear on-screen for players with TAA enabled has been fixed.

Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure DLC was today detailed by Microsoft and Playground Games, and is expected from 29 March.

"The game's second major expansion, Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure will allow players to prove their mettle across six biomes making up the new Sierra Nueva region, where they will join three different rally teams to race in the largest number of events featured in any Horizon expansion," reads a press release.



The new region and racing events will be joined by 10 new off-road vehicles, more EventLab props, new music inside Epitaph Radio, and new rally parts so you can tinker with your rides.

The DLC will be free for those who own the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-ons Bundle, Premium Edition, or Expansions Bundle. It'll also be offered as a standalone purchase
