"Japan is our biggest map yet and also our most full."
While significant anticipation exists, many details still need to be confirmed. Overall, fans are hopeful for an engaging and fresh experience in this new installment.
"When we think back to the lessons that we learned from previous games, there were components of Horizon 4 that people were maybe less fond of when it came to certain seasons - and a great example of that would be Winter.
It was pretty fun at first, but we found with time that players eventually started to grow a little bit tired of all the roads being covered in snow all the time. We wanted to learn from that [...] the Japanese are actually pretty good at keeping their roads clear, so our asphalt roads - generally those are clear from snow."

Playground Games has just released a dazzling new trailer showcasing the breathtaking Tokyo City in the upcoming Forza Horizon 6, and wow, it's a real treat for the eyes!
"We've carried forward that technology to the next game, I feel that [live service] was one of the best investments that we made with Horizon 5 - and we've gone to some lengths to ensure we can do a bit more with that this time around as well.
Moving forward from the Xbox One generation of consoles has kind of freed our hands a little bit there, to give us some more potential. We've learned how to celebrate key moments through the year based on the previous game, and we definitely look forward to exploring those opportunities through the live program on Horizon 6 as well."
