Looking forward to this one. Been a while since we had a Forza Motorsport title.

Out on the 10th of October for Xbox Series S, Series X and PC.

The game contains 500+ cars and 20 tracks.

The Builders Cup sounds interesting. I'd like a good campaign.

We also have a new track reveal

Some news. There will be post launch content following the games release in October. The Nurburgring Nordschleife layout won't be available until Spring 2024.

And the minimum, recommended and ideal pc specs have been revealed

Forza Motorsport developer, Turn 10, released nearly 18 minutes of new footage from its upcoming series reboot. Made up entirely of gameplay, the new video captures the first few minutes of the game.

It starts off with a practice lap at Maple Valley, before it jumps to Hakone where we get to see two laps of an endurance race on the track. This is very much the tutorial of the game, where you're taught to read the braking lines and how to... well, drive a racing car in a video game.

The first hands-on previews have received positive feedback....

Video Games Chronicle
"This has been three times longer than Turn10 has ever spent between Forza Motorsport releases, and the short taster we've had so far has us itching to get our hands on the final product to see how that extra development time has been spent. This could just be the racing game of this generation – time will tell."
GameSpot
"Right now, it's the new gameplay systems and mechanics that offer minor but impactful changes, and the foundation of a proper live service model with long-term potential, that entice me most."
IGN
"Unsurprisingly, it does look and feel fabulous – but it's the more thoughtful tweaks to the moment-to-moment racing out on track that have me the most interested."
Sports Illustrated
"Shifting the franchise's focus on circuit motorsport culture seems to hit the mark so far, and the same can be said for prioritizing car development over a bloated garage. Forza Motorsport is feeling great, and we look forward to completing our run on Builders Cup and testing some online gameplay in time for our review."
Windows Central
"I'm very excited for Forza Motorsport (2023). Following the resounding success that is Starfield, Xbox is poised to secure two massive victories at the close of 2023 with Turn 10 Studios' impending masterpiece."
Kotaku
"If you like racing games, this looks and plays tantalisingly like the racing game I've wanted Forza to become forever. I love the new approach, I genuinely learned things, and I'm eagerly anticipating the release even more now."
Polygon
"Once again, the Turn 10 team is making some bold structural choices about how to tie all this together, which may or may not pay off — but at least this time, those choices are all about what happens on the track."

Excited to try it out when it comes out on Game Pass, it will be my first Forza and it's looking great.

Played a couple of hours this evening, it's grand so far. Find the AI very annoying likewise with leveling up a car to modify it. Plays pretty well though, I definitely wouldn't be paying for it especially as there doesn't seem to be any drift lobbies which is a major let down or even a open area to mess about with friends. I will dump a few more hours into this over the weekend.

Just had a go, might be the best handling with a controller I've had from a racing game? Really nailed it and class going around Silverstone in a 1990 F1 Ferrari.
