The post shares personal experience and enthusiasm for the game, but could benefit from more specific details about the combat system and spell choices. Overall, it adds some value to the community by expressing enjoyment and potential future expectations.

Really enjoying this game, the combat is a lot more creative than I was expecting, hard to know which spells to have equipped.

Completed about 3 or so hours of story and dabbling around with side quests now slowly progressing. The map is class, so happy they've expanded outside of the castle itself.

Hope they build on this and develop even more with a sequel would be incredible

My son got it and let me play it last night. I love it. There is so much to explore, the animations are wonderful and the story is quite engaging. It's a proper RPG set in a universe that really feels magical, the artwork is incredible as well. Every room in the castle has some kind of wonderful feature, artwork or mystery. It's amazing what they can do these days.

Do you need to be a Harry Potter fan to play this?

I'm about 15 hours in now and am really enjoying this. It probably suffers a bit from trying to appeal to an extremely broad audience so lacks a bit of depth, it's definitely an RPG lite.

But the setting and the world are beautifully done. The attention to detail is excellent and the game is simply fun.

8/10 for HP fans and maybe 7/10 for others. I hope it does well so we get DLC and a sequel. There is lots more they could do with it

I'm eagerly awaiting the PS4 release. Pre ordered the deluxe version thinking I could start playing. The way it was communicated on the PS Store led me to believe I could.

I ended up getting this on Monday and so far so good! I had issues at the start with how the game looked and performed but changed some picture settings and switched to balanced and everything is pretty much fine and looks great for the most part!

The game is a lot of fun I'm about ten hours in and just got a broom the whole flying thing looks amazing and really adds to the game!

Hogwarts Legacy has recently been granted Xbox Play Anywhere support, a little over two years post-launch on Xbox Series X and S. This feature allows players to purchase the game on their console and automatically gain access to the PC version at no additional cost, enhancing accessibility for fans of the game.

The announcement came as a pleasant surprise, with the Xbox Play Anywhere banner now appearing on the game's store page. This development means that if you own Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox Series X or S, you can now enjoy it on PC as well. However, players should note that the Xbox One version does not include this feature.

The timing of this update raises questions, with speculation suggesting it may be linked to the upcoming release of the ROG Xbox Ally, aiming to expand the library of Play Anywhere titles for new devices. Additionally, there is potential for Hogwarts Legacy to be included in Xbox Game Pass in the future, which is worth monitoring as more announcements are expected soon.

This update not only enhances the gaming experience but also highlights the ongoing evolution of Xbox's ecosystem, making it an exciting time for both new and returning players.

I'm actually surprised this hasn't appeared on Xbox Game Pass.

Finally got around to playing this. I'm really enjoying it and feel like I've barely even cracked the surface with it. Think this one will keep me going a while
