Overview: The Targaryen dynasty is at the absolute apex of its power, with more than 15 dragons under their yoke. Most empires crumble from such heights. In the case of the Targaryens, their slow fall begins when King Viserys breaks with a century of tradition by naming his daughter Rhaenyra heir to the Iron Throne. But when Viserys later fathers a son, the court is shocked when Rhaenyra retains her status as his heir, and seeds of division sow friction across the realm.

Interesting episode, feel they are still setting things up. Think Matt Smith is great.

Good second episode. A bit more linear and far less complex than GOT was, but moving at a good pace while still setting things up nicely.

Was weird to see the GOT title music at the start and a new take on the mechanical landscape opening along with it.

I wasn't very optimistic for this but I'm hooked. I loved the stand off at Dragonstone. Feels like it's all steadily building up to something.

I am enjoying this. The final scene has me hooked.

I really enjoyed the second episode. Game Of Thrones was good when it was building character and storyline, I thought that was what was going on here. It's well cast and each character already has a developing arc.

I'm liking the pacing within the episodes but I'm not a fan of the time jumps between episodes.

Rhaenyra is my favourite character, her scenes were very good.

The battle at the end was a bit silly - couldn't do anything over 3 years then suddenly everything clicks with the perfect plan?!
