Ferrari won 5 in a row in the early 2000s and wasn't the rule changes for 2005 brought in to stop them? How come they're not doing the same for a more dominant team now?

Brilliant F2 sprint race. Tyres dropping off forcing pit stops, and some chancing their arm to go to the end without stopping. Worth a watch if it's on replay later.

I wonder if the tyre degradation will be similar in F1 today.
